The Club
Welcome to Ringmer Rovers Junior Football Club, established 1982. Although the Club was originally established in 1982 it was in 1999 that it truly became the Club it is today, as the previous seventeen years had seen many comings and goings before it firmly establishing itself. Now fully embedded into the local community Ringmer Rovers prides itself on it's open and fun environment with which to come and play your football.
The highlight for Ringmer Rovers so far has been receiving the prestigious accolade of FA Charter Standard Club, an honour bestowed them in 2007
following years of hard work to get the Club to this status. This is testament to the quality and commitment of all the volunteers who made this happen and ensures that the children at Ringmer Rovers are receiving the very best in local community football coaching and are participating in a safe and fun environment.
The FA Charter Standard is only awarded to Club's who conduct themselves in a manner conversant with strict FA guidelines. It is a best practice guide that sets standards of coaching, adminstration and child protection for all clubs outside the Football League and Premier League. As a benchmark for quality, it will improve the playing experience for all.
At Ringmer Rovers the philosophy is simple - the children come first - which certainly makes life interesting for those of us responsible for making it happen. The club motto is 'football for the whole community' whilst our summer football festival undertakes the aim of 'fun for all the family' and is totally committed to the RESPECT campaign.
